I actually find these numbers to be surprsingly low. I know in wealthier areas, such as Fairfeild county, the need for guns in the house is not as apparent for maybe some other Americans. The other question is, how many people have guns illegally that we don't know about?
One gun in every two households is not suprisingly low, mack. We have right to own a gun and am not suprised with these numbers. Mack has a good point of how much these percents would go up if illegaly owned guns were taken into consideration.

good job with the blog, has the percentage of housholds with guns and adults with guns risen since 1993/1994?
